Shiba Plugins and Chrome
Shiba Plugins and Chrome

Recently, there have been some issues with Shiba Media Library and Shiba Gallery in relation to a new Chrome update.

In Shiba Media Library, bulk operations in the Media screen no longer worked when using the Chrome browser. This issue is fixed in patch 3.0.3.

I also cleaned up the gallery tagging system so that tagged gallery images can now be properly ordered with order, orderby, numberposts, and offset arguments.

Please let me know if you run into new problems.

In Shiba Gallery, thumbnails have stopped working in noobslide galleries. This has to do with a conflict between Chrome and MooTools, in particular with the Moo.bind function. Here are a great discussion of the issue together with a fix.

This fix will be included in the new release of Shiba Gallery which will be coming out soon. This will be a big release which includes caption control, ability to assign different frames to galleries, and much more.

Feel free to subscribe to our WordPress Feed to get plugin updates.

Happy Thanksgiving!
