I have a question. I am back to building websites. I am creating a functionality plugin like I used to have in the past. You example above seems to only be useful if you are using WP Syntax Plugin.

This would be unnecessary if you weren’t using the plugin, right?

You just saved me from editing my theme. I use child themes, so just needed to change one line of code. However, it is always better to do things with filters
