Hello Amanda,
Try using Pet Finder. When I was looking for a Siberian Husky, that was what I started with. Many of the rescues around by area put up their dogs there. It was a great way to see what are the adoption options available nearby.

Then, I just went to each of the rescue websites to see if they have any adoption fairs coming up and what dogs they have available.
