Congratulations on your Shiba pup! They really are irresistible – especially their liquid dark eyes. Whenever Sephy asks for something, he just looks up at me with the Shiba-look. It is very difficult to say no. 😀
Would love to see your puppy so post us a link when you can.

LOL. That’s not a bad idea. We tried that with the kiddie pool. His friend Freezie (a puggle, but i think he has some pitbull in him) loves to swim and play in the water. Freezie had a blast in the pool and Reptar just sat and watched. Perhaps the hose game would yield some different results. Thanks!
He still hides when I bring the hose out, but he’s getting OK with a sprinkler. I turned it on very low and put some treats on and around it. He got his face wet, got startled but went back for more a few minutes later. Instead of getting his face, or body, wet for the rest of the treats, he lifted the sprinkler up with his nose and flipped it so he could safely get at the rest of his treats. Oh Shiba, you never cease to amaze, or rather amuse, me!
LOL – two Shibas learning from each other is a dangerous thing. I doubt they will teach each other ‘good’ lessons from our point of view 😉
Sephy will definitely teach Reptar how to poke holes into the water-hose and destroy it. He is good at those sorts of things.
I was actually thinking about Reptar and the water-hose a few days ago. One thing that may work well is to invite one of Reptar’s friends over – someone who REALLY likes water. Then play the water hose game with the friend. This may be incentive enough to get Reptar out of hiding.

IMG_3457…..PRICELESS!
I showed Reptar this picture and told him Sephy likes the hose so he should take lessons from him.
