• Shiba WordPress Theme Release 1.8
    by ShibaShake on

Shiba WordPress Theme 1.8 now supports a variety of blog background effects and comment threading! Here are the key features added to theme 1.8 -

    1. Comment threading and number of comments.
If you go to Settings >> Discussion on your WordPress dashboard (release 2.7+), you can set whether to allow comment threading, as well as the number of comments shown on each page. Limiting the total number of comments per page, will cut down on the amount of time a page takes to load. You can view an example of comment threading in the comments section below. Note – These comment options will only take effect if your WordPress theme supports them.
    2. WordPress blog background effects.
You can now set which background effect you want for the Shiba WordPress theme by using a dropdown menu in your Appearance >> Custom Colors dashboard menu.
    3. Decorative background images.
You can easily choose from a series of background edges and images for your WordPress posts. Do not settle for the common single or double line borders, but embellish your WordPress blog with decorative edges and post header and footer images, like the ones you see here.
    4. New theme images.
The Shiba WordPress theme now comes with 5 compelling theme options – Tattoo, Vampire Girl, Dark Angel, Wedding, and the original Dragons.

No PHP or Javascript knowledge is needed for the Shiba WordPress theme. All options can be set through the Appearance menu on this truly dynamic WordPress theme.

You can set the depth of threading in Settings >> Discussion. Probably don’t want to let it go too deep.
