The Shiba WordPress theme new release has some cool new features -
1. Menubar plugin support
The Shiba WordPress theme in now menubar ready. In particular, there is automatic support for the awesome WordPress Menubar Plugin by Andrea. All you need to do is install the plugin, drop a menubar widget (with the name shiba_menubar) into the menubar widget area, and you are ready to go.
The Shiba WordPress theme will automatically create a default menubar which changes color according to your blog color scheme. Here are more detailed instructions on how to install the menubar plugin and make it appear on your WordPress blog.
2. Styled blockquotes -
This is an example of a styled blockquote. It changes the shade of your background blog color to provide greater emphasis for quotes. It also works in the comments section so you can try it out if you want.
The style blockquote uses rounded borders which you will see if you are using something other than Internet Explorer. Sadly, Internet Explorer does not yet provide support for rounded borders.
3. Comment graphics
There is now an option to add graphics into the comments area. There are several different classes of graphics available, which you can pick from the Custom Images menu.
Check out the comments section of this post to see the new comment styles and graphics. Here is another example of the new Shiba theme comments area.
