Shiba Media Library 1.0

This plugin tries to simplify some of the image attachment functions in the existing WordPress Media Library. There are several key limitations in the current WordPress (2.8) Media Library including –

1. Awkward to attach groups of images to a post.
2. Difficult to detach images from posts other than through deletion.
3. Difficult to re-attach images to a different post.
4. Unable to attach images to multiple posts.

This simple plugin addresses the first three issues.

The Media Library Plus plugin features –

• Adds a new drop-down menu to your existing WordPress Media Library. This menu will allow you to do bulk attachments to both attached and non-attached images.
• The interface you use will be identical to the existing Media Library interface, except now, you can do bulk attachments on any image object.
• There is also the option to detach a set of images from their post so that they revert back to their unattached state.
• This entire plugin operates within the current WordPress Media Library framework so once you finish your image attachment operations, the changes will be automatically reflected in your WordPress gallery shortcode results.

Attaching an image to multiple posts is now enabled in the Media Library Plugin through image tagging.
