The Shiba Inu can be extremely challenging to care for. Shiba Inus are dominant, stubborn, and very intelligent, which makes for a deadly combo. That is why Shiba Inus are not recommended for first-time dog owners.
However, I decided to get a Shiba Inu as my first dog anyway. After all, how difficult can a dog be? It turns out that the Shiba Inu is a major pain in the ass! Even dog veterans have problems with the Shiba.
