Dogs attack more than 4.5 million people each year. Those who are most vulnerable in a dog attack are young children. Therefore, we want to teach our children how to properly meet dogs, and how to deal with free-roaming dogs. This will help reduce the chances of a dog attack.

I frequently get charged by large and small dogs while walking in the neighborhood. Leaving a dog to run loose in the neighborhood is dangerous to the dog, to other dogs, and to people; especially young children and seniors. This is what happened today when I was charged by a large German Shepherd.
